Cypriot side Pafos hosted Monaco in the fifth round of the UEFA Champions League, and one of the Cypriot players made history in the European competition.
Details: David Luiz scored against Monaco and, according to Opta, became the second-oldest player to net a goal in UEFA Champions League history. He is currently 38 years and 218 days old. The only player older was Portuguese defender Pepe, who was 40 years and 290 days old when he scored against Shakhtar Donetsk in 2023.
Reminder: Barcelona failed to score in an official match for the first time since December 2024, and their UEFA Champions League scoring streak also came to an end.
