David Beckham: Messi is the most modest superstar

The owner of Inter Miami, former English national team footballer David Beckham, can't hide his delight at working with the World Cup champion and seven-time Ballon d'Or winner, Lionel Messi.
"I wanted to arrive before Leo to show him that I am committed to the team and the club. But it was also important for me to savor this moment after hard work. I wanted to see how he comes, how professionally he behaves, setting an example for all the young players. He is a superstar, but the most modest superstar.
I just love watching him train. Anyone who has seen him in person knows he's different, special. People said he might need time to adapt. But it took him a few seconds.
Leo gives people moments they will never forget. And that's what American audiences love – to be entertained. Right after the free-kick goal in his debut match, he set a very high bar."
Earlier, Inter Miami denied the fact that the club would go on a tour of Saudi Arabia.
