David Alaba's return to action revealed

Real Madrid's central defender David Alaba has been sidelined for an extended period due to a severe injury. However, it seems his recovery is nearing its end.

Details: During a pre-match press conference, Real Madrid's head coach Carlo Ancelotti announced when the Austrian footballer is expected to return to action.

Quote: "David Alaba is finally close to coming back! We’re excited and eagerly awaiting his return," stated Ancelotti.

It is worth noting that back in December 2023, Real Madrid defender David Alaba suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury and has not played a single match since.

Additionally, Real Madrid has recently faced significant issues in central defense. Alongside David Alaba, Éder Militão also joined the club’s injury list in November, ruling him out for an extended period. This situation prompted head coach Carlo Ancelotti to experiment with the defensive lineup—a strategy the Italian coach has deemed successful.

Reminder: Earlier, the Italian coach confirmed that one of the team’s leaders, Kylian Mbappé, would miss the match against Rayo Vallecano due to injury.
