Darts stars Luke Littler and Luke Humphries featured in Sky documentary series
Sky has announced the release of a new documentary series about darts, reports Dailymail. The three-part film, titled Game of Throws: Inside Darts, will air at 9 PM on November 30 on Sky and NOW. The series offers fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the lives of the sport's top players.
"It's a personal intake into our lives. You are getting a backstage pass into what we do behind the scenes, when we celebrate, when we are disappointed, into our family lives, all our hobbies. It connects with our fans a bit more, which I think is great for the sport," said Humphries.
One of the stars of the series is the young Luke Littler, who will turn 18 in January. He has been a sensation in 2024, winning tournaments such as the Grand Slam of Darts, Jack's World Series of Darts Finals, and the Premier League Darts, as well as reaching the final of the World Championship. Littler is currently ranked 4th in the world.
29-year-old Luke Humphries is the 2024 World Champion, having defeated Littler in the final. Humphries currently leads the world rankings.
