Italian center-back Daniele Rugani, currently playing for Ajax, is not a regular starter for the Dutch club but has found himself in an unfortunate situation.

Details: According to TorinoToday, Rugani received a suspended sentence after being caught driving under the influence. The incident occurred on July 21, 2023, with test results showing 1.56 grams of alcohol per liter of blood, which is three times the legal limit.

He was initially given the option to pay a $5,000 fine, but Rugani refused. As a result, authorities confiscated his car, handed him a six-month suspended sentence, and revoked his driver’s license.

Reminder: In November, following the Europa League match between Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv, riots broke out in Amsterdam, leading to 60 arrests. A Dutch court sentenced four attackers to prison terms ranging from one to six months, while a fifth individual was ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.
