Daniel Dubois has become the IBF heavyweight champion

Heavyweight boxer Daniel Dubois was the interim IBF champion after defeating Filip Hrgović.
As reported by journalist Dan Rafael, Dubois has now become the full IBF titleholder. This occurred after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the IBF heavyweight belt.
The Ukrainian boxer released a video message, stating that the belt is important for AJ and Dubois, so he is giving it to them as a gift. On September 21, they will fight to determine the new IBF heavyweight champion.
Promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that negotiations for the next fight of former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) are nearing completion. Joshua's team hopes to announce the name of AJ's opponent at a press conference on June 26.
Earlier, the IBF stated that they had not received a request to sanction a fight between Joshua and Dubois.
Over the past 11 months, Joshua has been in excellent form, securing four decisive victories over Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin, and Francis Ngannou.
