- Nigeria vs Tanzania: Nigeria win
Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup and will clearly be looking to make amends at the Africa Cup of Nations. They boast a strong squad with top-class individuals. Tanzania will try to impose themselves and put up a fight, but we still believe the Nigerians will take the match.
- Ivory Coast vs Mozambique: Ivory Coast win
The Ivory Coast national team are the reigning Africa Cup of Nations champions. We expect them to want to open the tournament with a victory. They have everything required to do so, and we believe they will deliver.
- Cameroon vs Gabon: Gabon win
Two evenly matched teams will meet in a first-round encounter. Both Cameroon and Gabon will be aiming to fight their way into the knockout stage. It is a tough group, so winning from the outset is crucial. Gabon, in our opinion, can come out on top and make a positive start. Aubameyang is in excellent form and we believe he could be the decisive X-factor.
