One of the main matches of German football took place on Saturday, where Bayern Munich hosted Borussia Dortmund. In the context of the chase for Bayer for Thomas Tuchel's team now, any loss of points is undesirable, but the "recordmeister" managed to rewrite history and lost to the "bumblebees" with a score of 0:2.

Bayern lost at home to Borussia for the first time in seven years, and if we take specifically the Bundesliga, the Munich team has not lost to the "yellow-blacks" on their own field since 2014! Indeed, Bayern are 13 points behind the "pharmacists" with seven rounds to go. Only a miracle can help Munich defend the title, but as we know, football is unpredictable, so it's too early to join Tuchel's congratulations.

Natus Vincere won the first "major" in the history of CS2

The legendary shooter Counter Strike: Global Offensive has recently passed into oblivion, and cyber sportsmen had enough time to get used to its successor - Counter Strike 2. Thus, the first big tournament in this game, called "major", has already taken place, which was hosted by Copenhagen, Denmark.

Two teams reached its final: North American FaZe Clan and Ukrainian Natus Vincere. Everything was decided on the last map, where "born to win" confidently defeated the opponent with a score of 13:3 and, thus, became the winner of the first "major" in this game.

Manchester City and Arsenal played out a draw in Liverpool's favour

Although not a championship-deciding game, but still one of the most important matches in the current APL season took place on Sunday at Manchester's Etihad, with Manchester City hosting Arsenal. Both teams are in the top three of the standings, and a win for each would bring them closer to the top spot.

In addition, before the start of the match in Manchester nearby, namely in Liverpool, the team of the same name made a willful victory over Brighton, so in the case of a draw, the first place in the 30th round of the APL would be occupied by Jürgen Klopp's team.

And so it happened. The match ended 0-0, which, firstly, allowed Liverpool to top the standings, and, secondly, broke Manchester City's streak of 57 consecutive home matches in which the "citizens" scored.

Mikel Arteta's side also managed to become the fourth team, after matches with which Pep Guardiola's team left the field without scoring a goal in both league matches in the same season. Previously, Borussia Mönchengladbach (2014/15), Manchester United (2020/21) and Crystal Palace (2021/22) managed to do so.

The current Liverpool is the most willful in club history

As we understand, they did it quite successfully, and Jürgen Klopp's team pulled off this trick not for the first time this season. This campaign has become a record for Liverpool in terms of the number of willful victories in one season - seven.

Also, the Merseysiders have not known the taste of defeat in the APL for almost two months now, not losing in six matches in a row, and if you count all tournaments and only the main time of cup matches, this series already counts 11 fights.

The Old Lady continue to lose ground

Despite the fact that it is already 1 April on the calendar today, we can state the fact that Juventus entered 2024 in a bad way. Massimiliano Allegri's side got off to a perfect start in January, winning their opening five games of the year, but then the problems began.

After beating Lecce on 21 January, the Zebras played nine games, of which they won only one - against Frosinone on 25 February. Juventus approached the confrontation with Lazio on 30 March from a series of two draws and four winless meetings, but in the end they failed to get a point from Rome thanks to Adam Marusic's goal on 90+3 minutes.

Interestingly enough, the victory over Frosinone was also won by Torino after four unbeaten matches in a row, and then the Zebras also had two draws and two defeats in those games. However, on 2 April Juventus will play Lazio again, only on their own pitch in the first leg of the Italian Cup semi-final, and who knows, maybe the Old Lady will once again please their fans with a win after four games.
