Daily Weekend. Borussia Dortmund's first loss in a year, season's first English trophy awarded

Last weekend was a very fiery weekend and a lot of things happened in the world of football that should not be missed. Dailysports will tell you what the weekend was all about in our traditional digest.

Liverpool and Chelsea played for the first trophy of the season in England

On 25 February, the English League Cup final between Liverpool and Chelsea took place at Wembley in London, where the teams battled for the first trophy of the season in English football.

But not only the League Cup final marked the weekend in England, because in the Foggy Albion also held matches of the 26th round of the Premier League, of which we will note a few meetings, one of them - the confrontation between Manchester United and Fulham.

For the game against the "cottagers" team Erik ten Hag came out without their main goalscorer of recent weeks - Rasmus Hojlund, who will miss 2–3 weeks due to injury and without him “red devils” at home could not outplay the London team.

Even Harry Maguire's first goal in the current Premier League campaign, which set the score at 1-1 on 89 minutes, didn't help, Fulham at the end of the match for the first time in 20 years managed to pull out a victory from Old Trafford, and in general, the "cottagers" have not beaten the "Red Devils" a little more than 14 years.
