Czechia set a unique record for European Championships during first half of match against Georgia

Czechia and Georgia National teams faced off in the second round of Group F at Euro 2024.

In the first half, the Czech team frequently threatened the Georgian goal, but goalkeeper Mamardashvili was unbeatable.

Moreover, the Czech Republic became the first team in the history of the European Championships to have three shots on target in the first five minutes of a match.

Interestingly, the teams went into the break with Georgia holding an unexpected lead. Mikautadze converted a penalty in stoppage time to put his country ahead.
