Crystal Palace Reject Galatasaray’s First Offer for Senegal Winger Ismaila Sarr

Crystal Palace have reportedly rejected Galatasaray’s opening offer for Senegal international winger Ismaila Sarr during the current summer transfer window.

It will be recalled that earlier today, we reported that Galatasaray had submitted an official proposal to Crystal Palace for Sarr as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now reported that Palace have turned down the Turkish club’s first bid and remain determined to keep the 28-year-old at Selhurst Park.

“Crystal Palace have rejected the first proposal from Galatasaray for Ismaila Sarr,” Romano reported. “CPFC wants to keep Sarr unless a huge, really huge proposal comes to the table.”

Sarr enjoyed an outstanding 2025/26 campaign, scoring 21 goals in all competitions and playing a key role in Crystal Palace’s UEFA Europa Conference League title.
