Crystal Palace cannot loan Mudryk due to Premier League rules
Recent rumors suggested that Crystal Palace might bring in Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk on loan. However, the move is complicated—if not outright prohibited—by Premier League regulations.
Details: According to Daily Mirror, the league’s rules allow a club to have no more than two loan players in their squad at any given time. Currently, Palace already have two: goalkeeper Matt Turner, on loan from Nottingham Forest, and Trevoh Chalobah, also borrowed from Chelsea.
This leaves Palace manager Oliver Glasner with two options if he wants to secure Mudryk: either make one of the existing loan deals permanent or terminate one of them. It’s unlikely Chalobah will be sacrificed, as he has become a key figure in Palace’s setup.
Reminder: Mudryk has registered two goals and five assists in 14 appearances across all competitions this season.
