Saudi Arabian vice-champions Al-Nassr secured a victory today against Qatari side Al-Rayyan in the second round of the AFC Champions League group stage under Stefano Pioli’s management.
Details: Al-Nassr controlled the match, and just before the end of the first half, Sadio Mané opened the scoring.
In the 76th minute, the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo received the ball on the edge of the penalty area and scored a beautiful curling shot into the far corner.
However, the visitors managed to pull one back late in the game through Roger Guedes.
Reminder: This goal marks Ronaldo's 8th of the season for both club and country, alongside 2 assists.
In the first round of the AFC Champions League, Al-Nassr surprisingly drew against Iraqi side Al-Shorta, a match in which Ronaldo did not participate.
