Cristiano Ronaldo receives Best Middle East Award at Globe Soccer Awards ceremony

At the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony, Cristiano Ronaldo was once again among the honorees. The legendary Portuguese forward was recognized as the Best Middle East Player in 2025.
Thank you, Globe Soccer Awards. It is a great honor for me to see so many players, presidents, and agents here! Thank you! This gala is one of my favorites, because I see so many wonderful people there—especially my wife, who always supports me, as well as my children, parents, and teammates. It's hard for me to keep playing, but my passion for the game is even stronger. I remain highly motivated. That's why I keep playing. I've always wanted to play football, win trophies, and score goals. I want to keep going in the same spirit," Ronaldo summed up after receiving the award.
As a reminder, Ronaldo scored 40 goals in 2025. The Portuguese superstar has now reached this milestone in a single calendar year for the 14th time in his career.
