Cristiano Ronaldo reacts emotionally to Portugal’s Nations League triumph

Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo was, as always, brimming with emotion after his team’s victory in the Nations League final. The football superstar took to Instagram to share his reaction to yet another trophy win.

Ronaldo posted snapshots from the trophy ceremony, captioning them with a short but powerful phrase: “THIS IS OURS!!!! 🏆”. Notably, within just six hours of posting, Cristiano’s update had already racked up 11.5 million likes.

As a reminder, yesterday the Portugal national team, led by Ronaldo, defeated Spain in the Nations League final and made history by becoming the competition’s first-ever two-time champion. Cristiano was one of the match’s heroes, equalizing the score midway through the second half.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Portuguese star couldn’t finish the match. Late in the second half, he was forced to leave the pitch due to injury. The clash went into extra time and was ultimately decided by a penalty shootout, where Spain’s Alvaro Morata was the only player to miss.

In addition, France claimed the Nations League bronze, beating Germany in the third-place playoff.
