It seems the time of Brazilian star Neymar at Al-Hilal is drawing to a close, and the Saudi champions have found an unexpected replacement.
Details: According to Diario Sport, Al-Hilal is seriously considering the transfer of the league’s main star, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The legendary Portuguese forward is reportedly disappointed by the fact that he has yet to win any trophies with Al-Nassr. A move to Al-Hilal, who dominate on the domestic front, could change that.
Al-Hilal’s management is hopeful they can lure Ronaldo, whose contract with Al-Nassr expires in the summer of 2025.
Another argument in Al-Hilal’s favor is their participation in the 2025 Club World Cup.
However, it’s noted that a more likely scenario is that Ronaldo will extend his contract with Al-Nassr, as he wants to win something significant specifically with this club.
Reminder: On Tuesday, Al-Nassr defeated reigning AFC Champions League titleholders Al-Ain, with Ronaldo scoring one of the goals.
