"Cristiano Ronaldo is the only teammate I never saw naked" - Rafael van der Vaart

Details: In an interview with Diario de Torcedor, 42-year-old former Real Madrid and Netherlands attacking midfielder Rafael van der Vaart shared his impressions of playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in Madrid:

Cristiano Ronaldo was an incredible teammate. But I didn’t see him often because he was always busy with himself.

Once I said he was the only teammate I never saw naked, because he was always the first to arrive and the last to leave, and he didn’t like that I said it!

He had more moisturizers in his bag than all the other players combined, but... he was sensational. I didn’t even have 5% of his motivation to train. It was fantastic to be his teammate.

Van der Vaart played for Real Madrid from 2008 to 2010, after which he moved to Tottenham for €10.5 million. He made 73 appearances for the Galacticos, scoring 12 goals and providing 13 assists.

In November 2018, Van der Vaart announced his retirement. His last club was Danish side Esbjerg.
