Cristiano Ronaldo expresses condolences on the passing of his childhood coach

Cristiano Ronaldo paid tribute to his childhood coach Aurelio Pereira, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 77. The footballer posted a heartfelt message on his Instagram page.
Ronaldo shared a photo with Pereira and wrote an emotional message expressing his condolences and honoring the coach who nurtured him.
“One of the greatest symbols of world sport has left us, but his legacy will live forever. I will never stop being grateful for everything he did for me and many other players. Until the end of time, Senhor Aurelio, thank you for everything. Rest in peace,” Cristiano wrote.
It should be noted that Aurelio Pereira worked for many years at Sporting as a youth coach. Among his notable protégés, besides Cristiano Ronaldo, are talents like Luis Figo and Ricardo Quaresma. One of the fields at the club's training center is even named in honor of Pereira.
Let us recall that Cristiano Ronaldo is a product of Lisbon's Sporting, from where he moved to Manchester United in 2003.
