Cristian Paulucci has been unveiled as the new manager of Deportes La Serena, replacing Erwin Durán after a poor run of results. As reported by Emol, the club turned to the Argentine coach, hoping to turn things around in Chile’s top flight.

Paulucci, who led Universidad Católica to the 2021 league title, promised to bring an attacking, possession-based approach: “We’ll try to be a very offensive team, building from the back with the ball.” His staff includes former Chile international Felipe Gutiérrez, who will serve as his assistant.

La Serena sits 12th in the standings with 10 points, having lost four of their last five matches. This marks the fourth coaching change in the current Primera División campaign.
