German side Wolfsburg has announced major personnel changes—following a string of poor results, the club has parted ways with two key figures. Head coach Daniel Bauer and sporting director Peter Christiansen have both been relieved of their duties.

The German club reported the dismissals on its official social media channels. These decisions came in the wake of yet another disappointing Bundesliga performance.

Recall, on March 7, the Wolves suffered a 1-2 defeat against Hamburg, dropping to 17th place in the league table and now face the real threat of relegation from the Bundesliga at the end of the season.
