Uganda’s national team, the Cranes, have arrived in Casablanca for an 11-day training camp ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. A group of 17 players, coaches and officials travelled from Entebbe on Sunday night and landed in Morocco on Monday morning, with more players expected later in the week. Uganda are the first AFCON team to arrive in the host nation as they prepare for Nigeria, Tunisia and Tanzania in Group C.
Officials say the camp is meant to put the squad in top shape, with two friendly matches planned. Uganda will begin their AFCON campaign on December 23 against Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles at the Complexe Sportif de Fès.
