Details: According to renowned and reputable journalist and insider Ekrem Konur on his X social media page, Borussia Dortmund have made an official offer to Portuguese side Alverca for 20-year-old French centre-back Bastien Meupiyou, who was born in Senegal.
Reports suggest that Meupiyou was one of last season’s breakout stars, catching the eye of several La Liga and Serie A clubs. However, Borussia Dortmund are considered the frontrunners, having already entered official talks with Alverca and submitted a formal bid.
Meupiyou joined Alverca in the summer of 2025 from Wolverhampton U18. In the 2025/26 season, Bastien made 32 appearances for the club, though he did not register any goal contributions.
His market value is estimated at 7 million euros by Transfermarkt.
