It was revealed following medical examinations that the Belgian has been diagnosed with sacroiliitis—an inflammation of the sacroiliac joints. This condition causes pain in the lower back and pelvis, often radiating down the legs and resulting in significant discomfort.
Meanwhile, despite his recent troubles, Courtois has been called up to the Belgian national team for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Macedonia and Wales.
