Counterstrike: PSG files lawsuit against Mbappé, seeking nearly one hundred million euros

The legal battle between Kylian Mbappé and PSG has been raging for almost a year. The player claims the club owes him €55 million, which was frozen a month ago, but the club has now responded with a counterclaim for a much larger amount.
Details: According to RMC Sport, PSG has filed a counterclaim worth €98 million, arguing that the player's delays in the legal process have caused the club losses of that magnitude. So far, however, only €14 million has been successfully frozen.
Both sides refer to different interpretations of the events of summer 2023—PSG cites a verbal agreement to forgo payments, while Mbappé's lawyer denies this. A verdict in the case is expected on May 26.
Reminder: Previously, PSG reserved the right to settle the dispute in the commercial court, which Mbappé's lawyer sees as a violation of the entire sports legal system.
