Costa Rica has become the final participant in the upcoming Copa America

On the night of March 24th, a match between the national teams of Costa Rica and Honduras took place, determining the final participant of the Copa America 2024.

The Costa Rican team achieved a convincing victory with a score of 3:1, thanks to goals from Orlando Galo, Warren Madrigal, and Jefferson Brenes. Thus, this team became the last participant of the upcoming tournament. Now, Costa Rica will compete in Group D alongside Brazil, Colombia, and Paraguay. The full lineup of groups looks as follows:

• Group A: Argentina, Peru, Chile, Canada
• Group B: Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, Jamaica
• Group C: USA, Uruguay, Panama, Bolivia
• Group D: Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Costa Rica

It's worth noting that the Copa America 2024 will take place in the USA from June 20th to July 14th. The title of champion will be defended by the Argentine national team. Interestingly, the tournament matches will run concurrently with the European Championship in Germany.
