Coppa Italia. Juventus beat Frosinone with Milik's hat-trick
In Turin, the final participant of the Italian Cup semi-finals was determined. Juventus, in the role of a clear favorite, hosted Frosinone.
Massimiliano Allegri's team didn't procrastinate and scored two goals against the opponent in the first half. Both precise strikes were executed by Milik - first from the penalty spot, then in open play.
At the outset of the second half, the Polish striker completed a hat-trick, leaving no doubts about the match's outcome. Milik could have secured a poker, but his subsequent goal was annulled after a VAR review. And to add to the visitors' misery, Yıldız scored, bringing the score to a rather indecent 4:0.
In the semi-final of the Italian Cup, the Old Lady will face Lazio. In the other encounter, Atalanta will meet Fiorentina. These matches of the competition's stage are scheduled for April 3-4 and April 24-25.
