Having returned to lead the coaching staff of the Ivory Coast national team last August, Hervé Renard now has a full technical staff at his disposal.

Whilst the French tactician had already been officially presented as the new head coach of the Elephants, the full line-up of his coaching team had not yet been revealed. That has now been done.

For his return to the Ivory Coast team’s dugout, Hervé Renard will be accompanied by Siramana Dembélé, assistant manager. The staff also includes David Barea, the fitness coach, and Alexandre Kerveillant, who will take on the role of video analyst.

For specific work on set-pieces, Hervé Renard will be able to count on Fouad Taalat. Former Ivorian international goalkeeper Barry Copa Boubacar will be the goalkeeping coach.

The new coaching staff of the Ivory Coast national team will have no time to waste. They will get straight to work ahead of the next international break. Hervé Renard and his coaching team will prepare the Elephants for the first two matchdays of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, against Ghana and Somalia.

The Elephants will also play an international friendly against Cameroon.
