Copa America-2024 draw. The composition of the baskets has become known
The draw for the Copa America-2024 will take place in Miami on the evening of December 8.
On the eve of the event, the composition of the baskets with participants was shown on the official website of the tournament.
Pot 1: Argentina, Mexico, USA and Brazil.
Pot 2: Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
Pot 3: Chile, Panama, Venezuela and Paraguay.
Pot 4: Jamaica, Bolivia, Canada/Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica/Honduras.
It is interesting that the representatives of the first basket are already divided into groups. Thus, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil and the USA just have to find out the opponents who will get to them.
So, the Argentines are in group A, the Mexicans will play in quartet B, the US team is in group C, and the Brazilians will play in quartet D.
The teams from the first pot have already been divided into groups. Argentina is in Group A, Mexico is in Group B, USA is in Group C, Brazil is in Group D.
As for the participants in the fourth pot, two of them will become known in March 2024, when the playoff matches will take place.
Copa America-2024 itself will be held in the USA in 2024. The tournament will begin on June 20 and will last until July 14.
