Contract signed. Allegri returns to Milan
After an 11-year separation, a sensational coaching comeback is brewing at San Siro.
Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, Italian manager Massimiliano Allegri has signed a contract with the Rossoneri today. Notably, Allegri is set to launch a “new project” at San Siro.
The insider did not disclose the terms of the 57-year-old coach’s stay in Milan, but earlier reports indicated that the club had offered him a three-year contract with an annual salary of five million euros.
Reminder: Allegri previously managed Milan from 2011 to 2014. During his first stint with the Rossoneri, the renowned Italian coach captured the Scudetto and lifted the Italian Super Cup. In the 11 years since, “Max” has only coached one other club—Juventus, from 2014 to 2019 and again from 2021 to 2024—winning four consecutive Serie A titles with the Bianconeri.
