“Conte's call lit a fire in me”. McTominay told why he decided to move to Napoli

Former Manchester United defender Scott McTominay explained why he decided to continue his career at Napoli.

Details: The defender admitted that when he received a call from Napoli's head coach Antonio Conte, it "lit a fire" inside him. McTominay is also amazed by the passion of the team's tifosi.

Quote: "When I found out that Napoli were interested, and then I received a call from Conte, it immediately sparked a fire in me to come here and perform as strongly as I possibly can.

The fans are crazy; I would say they are some of the best fans I have ever seen or met. It's incredible, and I can't speak highly enough about the supporters and the people here. The way my teammates and the coach welcomed me has filled me with confidence," he told Napoli's official YouTube channel.

Reminder: It was previously reported that after moving to Naples, McTominay faced some challenges, and even his new coach, Antonio Conte, got involved to help him overcome them.
