Conor McGregor’s partner stands by him after rape conviction
MMA fighter Conor McGregor’s long-time partner, Dee Devlin, has expressed her unwavering support despite his recent conviction for the rape of Nikita Hand. Devlin posted on Instagram, emphasizing her trust in McGregor and their strong bond.
"I love him I trust him and I BELIEVE HIM! No one is entitled to comment on our relationship — we trust one another and love one another. Nothing or nobody will change that. Our family stands strong!" Devlin wrote.
Devlin and McGregor have been together for over 15 years and share four children.
Last week, McGregor lost a court case in which he was found guilty of raping Hand and was ordered to pay €250,000 in damages.
Hand alleged that McGregor raped and physically assaulted her during a Christmas party in 2018 in Dublin. McGregor, however, denies the accusations, maintaining that their encounter was consensual. He plans to appeal the court’s decision to prove his innocence. McGregor also apologized to Dee Devlin for his infidelity.
