Tonight in Tampa, USA, a boxing event took place with the main event featuring well-known YouTuber and showman Jake Paul and former UFC star, now BKFC fighter, Mike Perry.

The fight was quite intense, with both athletes hitting the canvas. Paul was knocked down once, while Perry was floored three times. The final knockdown was decisive, prompting the referee to stop the bout.

Jake Paul has now achieved ten victories in professional boxing, seven of which are by knockout, with only one loss.

Mike Perry was once a star in the UFC. He debuted with a record of 7-0 and fought in the organization until 2021, leaving with seven wins and eight losses.

Afterward, Perry moved to BKFC, an organization that focuses on bare-knuckle fighting, owned by another legendary UFC fighter, Conor McGregor. In a short span, Perry became a star in BKFC, securing five victories in five fights.

However, Perry’s decision to participate in a boxing match against Paul seemed to infuriate McGregor. Immediately after the fight, McGregor made a shocking statement on his social media page, X, announcing Perry's dismissal from the promotion.

"Hey Mike youre released and you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship thing, the smell of it, good luck. You’re fired."

Explaining his decision, McGregor added:

"By the way, Perry took a pay cut to participate in this fight. It was his choice. Remarkable. He won't be offered to return to the BKFC ring. He can have a few bouts in his new dirty boxing with MMA sparring gloves that he set up. We wish him the best. His wish came true."

Furthermore, McGregor also criticized Paul, accusing him of conducting unfair fights.

"Jake Paul is the biggest pissbag I have ever seen in my life. 40 pound weight difference, juiced out of his head, and still shitting himself in there. Nakisa you should take him to Vegas oh that’s right you could never, the athletic commission testing, real testing, real fighting. Bitch asses. You could never. And then calling out 60year old Mike Tyson fresh off an in flight medical emergency? I swear to god, a fat can of bitch piss. Most valuable pissbag."

Paul learned about Perry's firing at the post-fight press conference. He was shocked and responded to McGregor:

"This is f***ing insane that he fired the BKFC champion.

I told you this would happen. I told you."

He then added:

"He was hyping up his guy Mike Perry — I said: ‘Okay, Conor, after I deal with Mike Perry, you’re next.’

So, Conor is always on Twitter. He’s always on his yacht. Guess where he isn’t? In the ring, fighting me."
