Conor Gallagher bid an emotional farewell to Chelsea supporters

Atlético Madrid has officially signed Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher. The Englishman has penned a five-year contract with "Los Colchoneros."

Following the official announcement of the transfer, Gallagher posted a farewell video to Chelsea supporters.

"To everyone at Chelsea, thank you for making my dream a reality. It has been an honor to wear this shirt, and another dream come true was to wear the captain's armband on several occasions for this club.

I cherish every moment here. These memories will stay with me forever. I appreciate the support and love from the fans. Hearing my name chanted from the stands was especially heartwarming. That banner in my honor was a special moment that means a lot to me.

Thank you very much for everything; I wish the club all the best in the future and hope to see you again soon at Stamford Bridge."

According to Fabrizio Romano, Atlético paid €42 million for Conor Gallagher.
