Santos star Neymar has finally recovered from injury and returned to the pitch. His comeback seemed to spark the team, as they secured their first victory in a month—a result the Brazilian celebrated on his Instagram page.

Neymar posted a photo from the match, captioning it: “It’s been a tough week, but we came back to win… Congratulations to the team for all the effort and dedication…”

It’s worth noting that last night, Santos clinched their first win since April 17, defeating Vitoria 0-1 away in the latest round of the Brazilian Serie A. Neymar came on midway through the second half—his second appearance since recovering from injury. His first was in a cup fixture against CRB, where he also entered as a second-half substitute.

However, this win hasn’t dramatically improved the Fish’s position in the standings. They’ve moved up to 18th place, but Juventude, who are yet to play, could leapfrog them. Neymar’s side now has 8 points from 10 matches played.
