Congolese heavyweight says he wants to "stop Zhilei"
Congolese heavyweight boxer Martin Bakole (21-1, 16 KOs) has named three opponents he's targeting after stopping Jared Anderson.
"I would like to fight someone ranked seventh, eighth, ninth, or tenth. I’ll mention Zhilei Zhang — that would be a good fight. I want to stop that Chinese fighter.
I’ll also mention Agit Kabayel — that would be a big fight, a good contest. Another name I would mention is Joseph Parker — that would be a good fight. These are the three names I’ll bring up," Bakole said, as quoted by Boxing Scene.
Earlier in August, Martin Bakole defeated Jared Anderson by technical knockout in the fifth round. Along with the victory, the Congolese fighter claimed the WBO International Heavyweight title and the vacant NABF (North American Boxing Federation) championship belt.
