Congolese giants interested in former Orlando Pirates defender

A former Orlando Pirates player could soon reinforce the backline of DR Congo heavyweights TP Mazembe.

Details: According to FAR Porst, the player in question is Justice Chabalala, who recently played for Chippa United. TP Mazembe have already made contact with the defender’s representatives. Chabalala is currently a free agent and is open to the move, provided the terms are favourable.

Incidentally, following the official unveiling of midfielder Siphesihle Mkhulise as an Orlando Pirates player last week, details of his transfer to the club have also emerged.

Mbule became a free agent after Mamelodi Sundowns chose not to activate the extension clause in his contract.

Reminder: Relebohile Mofokeng has turned down offers from two Israeli giants — Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv. Both clubs held talks with Orlando Pirates.
