On Saturday, December 21, we will witness the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury. However, just a day before the fight, one of the ringside judges fell ill, sparking a dispute between the camps.

Details: According to Sky Sports, the third judge for the bout, Fernando Barbosa, fell ill and will not be able to attend the fight. Two new judges have been flown in as replacements, but the camps have differing preferences regarding who should take the position.

Tyson Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, addressed the situation and proposed a way to resolve the issue.

Quote: "One of the three judges fell ill. There are two reserves, both arriving, and we need to decide who will step in. We want one of them, and the other camp prefers the other, so I suggested flipping a coin," Warren said.

He added that the matter will be resolved sensibly, emphasizing that both teams are true professionals who know how to handle the situation.

Reminder: On Thursday, December 19, the final press conference for the fighters took place, concluding with the traditional face-off. It turned out to be truly epic, as Usyk and Fury showcased incredible composure, staring into each other’s eyes for nearly 10 minutes. In the end, it was Fury who broke under the pressure.
