Confirmed. Felix is back at Chelsea

One of the most high-profile transfer sagas has officially found its end. Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has become an Atletico player, with forward João Félix heading in the opposite direction.

Chelsea's press service did not reveal the contract line of the 24-year-old Portuguese, nor the amount of the transfer. The latter we can find out thanks to the portal Transfermarkt, and if we rely on the data of this source, Atletico will receive for Felix 49.2 million euros.

Note that for the Portuguese forward, Chelsea is not something new. He has already played for the London team, and, moreover, relatively recently: in the second half of the season 2022/2023. Then in the camp of ‘pensioners’ he played 20 matches, scoring four goals.

Recall that last season Felix spent on loan at Barcelona, and the Catalan club made attempts to keep the Portuguese.
