Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek moved to Eintracht on loan at the start of 2024, but the Frankfurt club have decided not to extend the partnership.

Eintracht's official website reported that there was a buy-out clause in the lease agreement, but the club have decided not to use it and the 27-year-old Dutchman will return to Manchester United at the end of his loan.

At Frankfurt, van de Beek played eight matches in the Bundesliga, during which he did not make any impact. But that's still more than he has played for Manchester United, as he has only received two minutes of game time in the Premier League from Erik ten Hag in the current campaign.

The 27-year-old midfielder's contract with the Red Devils runs until 30 June 2025.
