Confirmed. Chelsea has signed the Argentine talent, but he won't join the team immediately

Chelsea have made another signing this transfer window, but the newcomer will not join the team immediately.

We are talking about 19-year-old Argentine defender Aaron Anselmino, who has signed a contract with the Blues until 2031, but he will remain at his home team - Boca Juniors - for the next season.

The amount of the transfer by the clubs remained undisclosed, but we know it thanks to the Transfermarkt portal. According to its data, Chelsea paid 16.5 million euros for the young talent.

He signed his first professional contract with Boca on 10 June 2023 and made his first-team debut against Lanus on the same day.

The centre-back played nine more games for Boca and scored his first goal for the club in April in a Copa Sudamericana group stage win against Trinidense.
