Confirmed. Bournemouth have loaned Chelsea goalkeeper

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa will spend the 2024/2025 season away from his club. Only if last season the Spaniard represented Real Madrid on loan, then in the current campaign he will play for a more modest club - Bournemouth.

The Cherries press office announced the 29-year-old goalkeeper's lease for the 2024/2025 season. No terms on whether Bournemouth have a right or obligation to buy were disclosed in the club's statement.

Cherries chief executive Neil Blake commented:

‘We are pleased to have brought a player of Kepa's calibre to Bournemouth. We were aware of his ability and were keen to take the opportunity to bring him to the club on loan. We believe he will be a great addition to our goalkeeping department’

Kepa played 20 games for Real Madrid in all competitions last season and won La Liga, the Champions League and the Spanish Super Cup with the team.
