Confident victory! Springboks thrash Italy in Pretoria

The South African national rugby team has claimed yet another triumph. In a test match, they delivered a crushing defeat to the Italian side.
Before the match in Pretoria, the Loftus Versfeld Stadium gave a magnificent rendition of the South African anthem, and from the opening minutes the Springboks set out to meet the fans’ expectations.
Already in the first half, the Africans scored four tries, each followed by successful conversions from Pollard. The visitors responded with a penalty kick, but the halftime whistle locked in a score of 28-3 in favor of the hosts.
The second half was more evenly contested, but Italy failed to bring any suspense back into the game. The final whistle sealed the result at 42-24—a commanding win for South Africa.
As a reminder, these teams will face each other again on July 12, and a week later, the Springboks are set to play against Georgia.
