Como raises the stakes: Italians ready to pay €30 million for Chelsea defender

Details: According to renowned and respected journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on his social media page X, Como is not giving up on their pursuit of Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah and has submitted an improved offer to the London club.

Romano reports that the new bid includes €25 million as a guaranteed fee and an additional €5 million in easily achievable bonuses. This means the total value of the deal is almost certain to reach €30 million.

Negotiations between the clubs are ongoing, and Chalobah himself is reportedly open to a move to Italy and interested in joining Como.

The final decision now rests with Chelsea, who must decide whether the revised financial terms are satisfactory.

Chalobah's current contract with Chelsea runs until 2028, and his market value is estimated at €40 million by Transfermarkt.
