Como, coached by Fàbregas, unveils new goalkeeper in a creative way
This winter, Serie A newcomer Como is once again very active in the transfer market, as they were in the summer. Today, the club announced a new signing.
Details: 29-year-old goalkeeper Jean Butez has officially joined Como from Antwerp.
The club took a creative approach to the announcement. In the video, Butez is seen standing in front of the camera, scrolling through Fabrizio Romano’s posts about his transfer. At the end of the video, the goalkeeper greets the fans of his new club.
Butez was Antwerp’s first-choice goalkeeper for the previous four seasons but lost his starting position this season, making just two appearances so far.
Reminder: Como’s head coach is the legendary Cesc Fàbregas. After 18 rounds, Como sits in 16th place in Serie A.
