Colombe reacts to the decision of Fecafoot’s Federal Certification Chamber
The club says it has accepted the verdict but promises to consider its options for appeal.
Colombe has been declared the loser of the Cameroon Champions Trophy, with the title awarded to Panthere FC. This decision by the Cameroonian Football Federation follows Colombe’s refusal a few weeks ago to continue the Champions Trophy match after a penalty was awarded to Panthere. On Monday, the Federal Certification Chamber declared Panthere FC the winner of the trophy and imposed heavy sanctions on Colombe. The Cameroonian club has responded to this decision.
Colombe Sportive du Dja et Lobo has taken note, via social media, of the decision by the Federal Certification Chamber regarding the Champions Trophy friendly match. It intends to explore all possible avenues of appeal, whilst reaffirming its commitment as a Republican Team.
