Claude Le Roy unveils the Republic of Congo’s final squad to face Namibia and Cameroon in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers Getty Images

The Republic of Congo will kick off its qualifying campaign for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations away from home.

The Red Devils will face Namibia on 24 September. However, due to a lack of an approved stadium, Claude Le Roy’s side will play at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown, Botswana.

Five days later, the Congolese national team will play their second qualifying match. Claude Le Roy and his players will host Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions on 29 September at the Alphonse-Massamba-Débat Stadium in Brazzaville.

For these two matches, the French manager has selected a total of 27 players. The squad comprises players competing in the domestic league, across Africa and on the continent.
