City Football Group own numerous clubs around the world, but that portfolio is set to shrink, as they have decided to sell one of them.

Details: As reported by Fabrizio Romano, City Football Group have opted to sell the Indian club Mumbai City. This decision has been driven by the uncertainty surrounding the Indian Super League, and the future of the competition as a whole.

The league is currently on hold due to the expiration of the contract between the All India Football Federation and the league’s commercial partner. Traditionally, the season would usually kick off in September or October.

Manchester City’s next match will be against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, December 27. Kick-off is scheduled for 13:30 CET.

Reminder: Manchester City striker Erling Haaland scored another brace and overtook Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of Premier League goals, achieving this milestone in 122 fewer matches.
