Samuel Chukwueze has joined the Super Eagles camp in Cairo as preparations continue for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The AC Milan winger arrived too late to be considered for Tuesday’s friendly against Egypt, where 17 players from Nigeria’s final 28-man squad featured.

With travel to Fes approaching, 26 players are in camp. Goalkeepers Francis Uzoho, Stanley Nwabali and Amas Obasogie are present, alongside Wilfred Ndidi, Ademola Lookman and Alex Iwobi. The team confirmed Victor Osimhen and Moses Simon will arrive soon. Nigeria will train twice Wednesday, starting with a gym session at 11am before an on-pitch workout at 5pm.
