The Ivory Coast international joins Aris Thessaloniki from ACF Fiorentina.

Christian Kouame is taking his career to the next level. After six years in the Italian Serie A, he is set to discover the Greek league. He will play for ARIS FC. The 2023 African champion has signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with the Greek club, ARIS FC has announced.

"ARIS FC announces the signing of Christian Kouame from Italian club ACF Fiorentina. Christian Michael Kouame Kouakou, his full name, who has signed a one-and-a-half-year contract, was born on 6 December 1997 in the city of Abidjan, Ivory Coast."

The centre forward, who trained in Italy and made his debut in the Italian league, did not hide his enthusiasm after signing in Greece. "I am happy to finalise my transfer to ARIS. I would like to thank the president and the technical director for the trust they have placed in me. The people at ARIS have welcomed me in the best possible way and made me feel at home from the very first moment. I will try to give my all to my new team and I hope, together with our supporters, to celebrate many successes in the future," said Christian Kouame.

With ACF Fiorentina, Christian Kouame has made 155 appearances, scoring 11 goals and providing 7 assists since 2020.
