Christian Kofane kicks off his Bundesliga season with a goal

The Cameroonian striker scored his first goal of the season in the German league on Saturday 29 August during Bayer Leverkusen’s 3–2 defeat to Elversberg.

Christian Kofane is maintaining his scoring form. The Cameroonian international started the new season with a goal, even though his team lost.

He found the back of the net on the very first matchday of the German Bundesliga. Trailing 3-1, Bayer Leverkusen were able to rely on their young Cameroonian striker to reduce the deficit late in the game.

In the 90th minute, Christian Kofane found the back of the net to make it 3-2. The goal saw the Cameroonian international open his account on the very first matchday of the German Bundesliga.

Despite Kofane’s goal, Bayer Leverkusen were unable to equalise. The Cameroonian striker’s club lost 3-2 to Elversberg.
